Another year has passed, and a quarter of a century of programming has ranged from the classic Dick Clark’s New Year’s Eve with Ryan Seacrest to CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live with (Anderson) Cooper and Andy Cohen. Keith Urban, Kane Brown and Jelly Roll will join the CBS lineup with Entertainment Tonight’s Rachel Smith (New Year’s Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash). Many other networks will also ring in 2025 with a variety of celebrations and international celebratory broadcasts.
"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest" 2025 will air on December 31 at 8 p.m. on ABC. The show will air the following day on Hulu. This year's traditional New Year's countdown features a number of stars. Seacrest will host Midnight Countdown with singer Rita Ora, who has previously appeared on Times Square Live. Dayanara Torres is back as a member of Puerto Rico. Performances at the West Coast party will include Alanis Morissette, special guest René Rapp, Dasha and DJ Cassidy’s Pass The Mic Live!, headlined by Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Slick Rick & Doug E. Fresh, Ernest, HARDY, Kesha, Laufey, Natasha Bedingfield and T-Pain. Blake Shelton will perform from Las Vegas, while Luis Fonsi will perform from his native Puerto Rico. TLC will then join the star-studded lineup in New York’s Times Square. Carrie Underwood, who won the fourth season of “American Idol” 20 years ago, will cap off 2024 by performing some of her hits in Times Square before midnight. CMA New Artist of the Year Megan Moroney and Legendary British Singer-Songwriter Sophie Ellis-Bextor will perform Emerald Fennell’s “Murder on the Dance Floor” from Saltburn Post-Violence with Underwood in Times Square.
Other New Year’s Eve performances include Lenny Kravitz, singer-songwriter Teddy Swims, Tinashe, country singer Cody Johnson and Thomas Rhett.
This will be the second year that iHeartMedia will be available on 150 iHeartRadio stations nationwide (including Z100 New York, KIIS-FM Los Angeles, KISS FM Chicago, Q102 Philadelphia, NEW MIX 102.9 Dallas, and more), meaning music fans nationwide can listen to iHeartRadio stations and watch live shows on the iHeartRadio app starting at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31.
